. She had a new lawyer his name is Todd Ringo and he replaced Robert Verhines. her trial lasted all afternoon and the sheriffs department officers Adam Barbain and Detective John Kemp also deputy Jordan could not even keep their stories straight they stated under oath that they did not have to read Aimee her Miranda Rights and that taking statements from key witnesses was not important to do ! They never took any weapon from our home either!! That was not important to them, the real reason that they never took any weapon is they had touched the knives that were on the kitchen counter. and so if they would of thought they had anything they had already tainted the evidence if there was any .
Todd Ringo asked deputy Adam Barbain if he had spoke to anyone that saw it in the home and took statements his reply was he could not remember who he talked to but he had clearly stated in his statement to the grand jury that he had spoke to Aimee's mother . Which was another lie because he never spoke to her .
The deputy did not think it was important to read her her rights or even take any statement from the witnesses. this deputy does not need to be on any police force since he can not do his job.
McKenzie Green lied on the witness stand he gave three different stories and took 5 minutes to answer a question as to why he was actually there. never was it brought to light that McKenzie is a drug addict and a thief also he had been told numerous times to stay away from our home!
Hailee Moore was threatened by Doug Hoffman prior to the trial. he told her after she had told him she did not want to testify because she was not with McKenzie any longer and he was violent towards her that they had split up. Doug Hoffman had told Halie that he would put her in jail if she did not testify . he had to badger his own witness because he did not have a case!!!
Aimee had testified that she had told McKenzie to leave and not come back he insisted on breaking into our home! he also lied and stated that he was coming to ask Aimee mother to do his income taxes, knowing he was told she would not do them and he was not allowed on the property.
When Todd Ringo asked McKenzie why he came there he could not keep his story straight! This was a home invasion and we were never even allowed to press charges but instead they state has drug Aimee through this mockery of a trial and slandered her name.
The jury members were instructed not to come by our home or the home where Mckenzie and Haliee had lived. After the trial my oldest daughter and her sister and their uncle were sitting in my yard and saw a jury member drive by our home! Who is to say she did not come out there even befor they reached their verdict or any other jury member?
We have so called police officers here that could not tell the truth on the witness stand and had told several different stories and the judge never threw this out of court due to the fact that there was no Miranda rights read, the cops could not keep their stories straight and they had lied to a Grand jury!!
Aimee wanted to be a nurse and fought this case so she would not have any felony charges on her record she is innocent!!
We do not know how a jury even convicted her for this charge of aggravated battery one jury member worked with Aimee sister and never told any one.
Aimee goes for sentencing on August 22 at 9 am
